Fall Family Weekend
October 21-23, 2005
From presentations to celebrations, visiting families weathered the rain through a variety of fun activities. Sporting events, the Film Series, a drama production, Casino Night, equestrian competition, and a Ducks Unlimited banquet kept the entertainment going all-weekend long.

Used book sale
Phi Alpha Theta and the Writers' Union sponsored a used book sale in front of Tawes Theatre.
Student Academic Showcase
Celebrating the academic accomplishments of students in the McLain Atrium of the John S. Toll Science Center, students participated in presentations, panel discussions, and readings demonstrating their accomplishments.
A Presidential Birthday
President Tipson celebrated his birthday with the college community.
Athletics
The Third-annual Co-AM Doubles Tennis Tournament kicked off Saturday's events, followed by Field Hockey vs. Dickinson College, Women's Soccer vs. Muhlenberg College, and Volleyball vs. Dickinson College.
Women's Volleyball played against Dickinson College in the Cain Athletic Center.
Fine and Performing Arts Scholarship Awards
Washington College Friends of the Arts hosted a reception honoring arts scholarship recipients and scholarship donors in the Constance Stuart Larrabee Art Center.
The Washington College Jazz Combo, directed by Kenneth Schweitzer, provided music.
President Tipson spoke about the arts at Washington College and announced the winners.
Professor Garry Clarke described the tradition of arts at Washington College.
