On Saturday, April 8, 2006, WC alumni, parents, lacrosse fans, and dignitaries gathered for the official dedication of Roy Kirby, Jr. Stadium. The rainy weather didn't deter the crowd or WC's Shoremen and Shorewomen, who faced off against Centennial Conference rivals Gettysburg on the new all-weather field, nor the day's dignitaries who braved the driving winds and rain.
