George Washington Appears on the Today Show
February 19, 2007
In honor of George Washington's 275th Birthday, students braved chilly temps and a considerable early-morning crowd to promote Washington College's Curious About George campaign outside Rockefeller Center.
Armed with tri-cornered hats, Washington College banners, and a full-costumed George, the students made their Today show debut throughout various segments of the morning's broadcast. Matt Lauer even made special reference to the young George in the President's Day audience.

A ten-degree temp and blustery winds, did not hinder Tomeka Scales '07, Kim Last '07, David Melnick '09, College Relations Coordinator Sarah Snyder '04, and Zach Dixon '07, from their

The Washington College students worked hard to grab Al Roker's attention.
