Shoreline Cleanup

January 26, 2008

A group of new transfer students tackled the marsh around the Washington College Boathouse and Lelia Hynson Pavilion with a mission: to clean up the shoreline, one discarded bottle at a time. The group walked away with a strange array of objects, ranging from a hula hoop to an abandoned flip-flop, and also a new respect for the marsh that edges the Chester River.
