As an alternative Spring Break, 17 members of the Washington College
community traveled to Columbus, Georgia, to participate in Habitat For
Humanity's Collegiate Challenge. The Challenge this year consisted of
ten schools building ten houses in five days. Washington College,
working in tandem with a construction crew from NeighborWorks Columbus,
finished drying-in their house first, and went on to help other schools
finish up to meet the Challenge.
