The Athey Family came together to share in the recognition of their father, grandfather, and uncle.

Immediately after the ground breaking, current and former players took to the field for an alumni game.

Before becoming Athletic Director, Mr. Athey coached Washington College sports teams, including lacrosse and track and field. Over the years he has won great respect from all teams in the Washington College community, including the tennis teams.
