Athey Baseball Park Groundbreaking

Former athletes, coaches, administrators, and students came together to break ground for the new baseball park named in honor of former Washington College Athletic Director Ed Athey '47.

Before becoming Athletic Director, Mr. Athey coached Washington College sports teams, including lacrosse and track and field. Over the years he has won great respect from all teams in the Washington College community, including the tennis teams.
