Queen of the Roses

October 26, 2008

The sisters of Alpha Omicron Pi hosted the first annual Queen of the Roses 5K Run/Walk to raise money for a scholarship to honor Jasmine Queen, who would have been a junior this fall but passed away one week before school. The event started and finished at Wilmer Park. After the race participants enjoyed free food, donated by Washington College dining services, music, provided by Phil Baker '09, and a moon bounce, provided by JBK Hardware.
