Kim Lessard, head swim coach, starts the triathlon off.

The first part of the triathlon is swimming. The members of the WC swim team must complete 1000 meters (40 laps).

The members of the WC swim team are well on their way to complete this part of the race.

After quickly completing the swimming portion of the race, the swimmers head outside to throw on some clothes and jump on their bikes for a 12-mile bike ride.
