With the taste of the Transquaking River's brackish salt spray still fresh on their lips, Chesapeake Semester students crossed the Delmarva Peninsula to the Atlantic to explore the saltwater wetlands of Chincoteague Island, VA. Students take to bike, to foot, and to kayak to explore this unique barrier island and its diverse ecology.
