Oyster Festival

All of the hard work exploring the ecology and geology of the Chesapeake Bay and its watershed has finally paid off! The Chesapeake Semester students' final day in Chincoteague coincides with the annual Chincoteague Oyster Festival! With tons of oysters prepared every imaginable way—single, fried, steamed, on the half shell, fritters—and steamed crabs, clam chowder, and hush puppies to boot, the only thing missing was the stomach room to put it all away!
