Trip to UPenn's Kelly Writers House
October 7, 2009
After discovering that other universities and colleges have Literature Houses like ours (Rose O'Neill Literary House), director Mark Nowak decided to take a trip up to the University of Pennsylvania to visit the Kelly Writers House. This trip was informational in many ways, as it helped generate ideas about what we could change about our Lit. House and what we need to protect most.

A view of the house's common room.

The house's upcoming events.

Owen Bailey and Mark Nowak listen as UPenn's house director speaks of their policies.

All work and no play would make these directors dull men.

A collage of their events over the years.

A very interesting chair we found in the house. Maybe Washington College could borrow the idea.
