Newsweek's Campus Magazine Names Washington College Sexiest in Sustainability
Chestertown, MD — Christina Bell '07, Shannon Holste '07, and Emily Richardson '07 landed the cover of Newsweek's Current for their involvement in making Washington College a more environmentally sustainable campus. Current reaches 225,000 students nationwide.
WC and several other colleges are profiled in the article "Shower With Your Roomie, and 33 More Ways You Can Save the Planet." In addition to being selected for the magazine's cover photo, Washington College now also has the distinction of having been awarded "Sexiest Sustainability" status by Newsweek.
